Wax Me, Baby

Wax sculpting is a true art form. The process of making a hyper-realistic wax sculpture takes over 800 hours of moulding, measuring, painting and sculpting and costs up to 300.000.- EUR. However, only the head and hands are actually made out of wax, the body consists of fiberglass. Real human hair is used and each single hair is carefully inserted into the wax head. The hair insertion process alone takes close to 4 weeks.
